Celeriac, Apple & Wasabi Slaw

This may sound like a slightly odd combination; wasabi and celeriac, but trust me, it’s really good! I think it’s no secret that I like to experiment with food and this was one test case that really worked! You only need a little wasabi to give this a subtle kick that just makes your celeriac slaw that little bit more exciting. It’s also goes with many dishes; salads, cold meats, fish and in sandwiches. It was especially great in a salmon wrap I made which I shall share with you all tomorrow.

  1. I’d never heard of wasabi till I read this (so looked it up on Wiki) but sounds good – I’ll have to go to the Japanese shop and get some. I first ate celeriac in Romania, as a simple salad – grated with a dressing; there it has the reputation for being a natural Viagra.
